As the founder of the Social Entrepreneurship School Education (SEnSE) Program in 2014, Dr Tse has created a transformative platform that integrates education, philanthropy, business, and government sectors to foster social innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among young people. To date, the program has reached over 490 schools, trained more than 80,000 students, incubated over 700 social innovation ideas, assisted 161 teams, and secured over $70 million in social innovation funding. He is also the Project Director and Principal Trainer of the Jockey Club Life Adventure Opportunity Hub (LAOH), where he leads an ambitious mission to transform 100 primary schools into innovative, future-ready institutions while mentoring 20 school principals to become transformative leaders capable of driving meaningful change in their schools and communities. These initiatives have made remarkable contributions to nurturing creativity, innovation, and social responsibility across Hong Kong’s educational landscape.

Dr Tse is devoted to researching social entrepreneurship, innovative education, life education, generational differences, and youth transformation. He has conducted extensive studies, authored, and published works on transformational leadership, experiential learning, and social entrepreneurship, emphasising the creation of sustainable and impactful educational ecosystems. His work examines how education can address complex societal challenges, including inequality, poverty, sustainability, and climate change. As an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences at City University of Hong Kong, he shares his expertise with students and professionals, fostering academic inquiry and practical solutions that empower communities and promote social progress.

Beyond his academic and leadership roles, Dr Tse is deeply engaged in public service. He is the Co-chair of the Organising Committee of the Social Enterprise Summit 2025, a platform that unites diverse sectors to envision and implement new possibilities for societal advancement. He also serves as Director of the Hong Kong Social Entrepreneurship Forum. Additionally, he collaborates with principals, educators, and cross-disciplinary experts to promote the “21st Century Education Symposium.” Dr Tse plays key advisory and board roles in multiple NGOs and schools, where he uses his strategic insights to transform organisations into innovative and impactful institutions, helping them address pressing social issues, foster sustainability, and maximise their impact within communities.

Dr Tse’s achievements have earned him international recognition. He was honoured with the Outstanding Leadership Award in 2023 at the Education 2.0 Conference in Dubai and the Visionaries Award in 2025 in the USA, celebrating his groundbreaking contributions to education and social entrepreneurship. CIO Magazine has also recognised him as one of the “10 Most Visionary Leaders Transforming Education” in 2024. These accolades underscore his unwavering dedication to driving meaningful change, inspiring future generations, and advancing education and social innovation on a global scale.
